Kicking off the 2023 Show Season!
The Drop and Roll Tour kicks off their 2023 show season in Switzerland at the Hostettler group’s Hoschi Days Festival!
The wheels are turning again on The Drop and Roll Tour as they finish up a weekend of shows in Sursee, Switzerland at the Hostettler Group’s Hoschi Days! Debuting an all new and improved show, featuring street trials legends, Danny MacAskill, Duncan Shaw, and John Langlois!
Over the off season the team have been busy working away on some new ideas for the show, with the layout getting a refresh and for the first time on the road, a new speed trials race format has been devised, which saw the team battle head to head, completing a short but intense obstacle course! This proved very popular with the Swiss fans, so you can expect to see this making a return for the team’s upcoming dates!

After the race, it was time to ramp up the danger, as Duncan Shaw launches himself and his custom Marin trials bike up and onto the Drop and Roll trailer, before climbing a scaffold tower nearly 20ft above the crowds! Coincidently this is MC, Henry’s least favourite part of the show, as Duncan demonstrates his trials precision by dropping off the tower and landing between Henry’s legs…

John Langlois is quickly becoming a crowd favourite as he takes the chance to show off his BMX background, and the new generation of street trials, as he combines logic defying tail whips and barspins into some of the more traditional street trials moves…

And as ever Danny MacAskill brings some of his unique tricks to the live environment, as he performs his gymnastic ball frontflip, first seen in his film “Imaginate” followed by riding along a specially constructed “spikey fence” taking the crowd back to the very line that Kicked off Danny’s professional career all those years ago.
Another feature making a return of course was "Danny’s special box”, thanks to the Drop and Roll Tour’s supporting partners, which gives the crowds the opportunity to win themselves shoes from Adidas - Five ten, cleaning and maintenance products from Muc-Off, as well as Drop and Roll tour T-shirts…
The Drop and Roll Tour will next be stopping off in their homeland at the Red Bull Mountain Bike fedstival in Fort William, Scotland. An event offering the opportunity to ride this years’s world championship downhill mountain bike track before watching the whip off competition, and film screenings in the evening… Head to our shows page for more details.
